Doug Turnbull (CS) publishes two papers on music recommendationContributed by Doug Turnbull on 10/15/20 Prof. Doug Turnbull published a full paper entitled "Exploring Acoustic Similarity for Novel Music Recommendation" at the International Society for Music Information Retrieval conference. ISMIR '20 is being held (virtual) this week in Montreal, Canada. The paper is co-authored by Derek Cheng (Amazon Music) and Thorsten Joachims (Cornell.) In addition, Prof. Turnbull also published a workshop paper "Can We Determine Artist Origin from Past Live Events?" with co-authors Michael Zhou and Throsten Joachims from Cornell.
