First-Gen Celebration Day 11/6/2020 RSVP for Events Today!Contributed by Lia Munoz on 10/18/20 This year, Ithaca College will celebrate First-Gen Celebration Day on November 6th 2020. First Generation Students are defined as students (and their siblings) who are the first in their family to attend and graduate from a four-year residential college in the U.S. We encourage First-Gen students, families, faculty, and staff to participate at any point as we celebrate the accomplishments of our First-Generation students and share with the campus community about how to support and continuously celebrate our resilient community! On Friday November 6th please join us for..... 1:00-2:00pm Alumni Panel In honor of First-Generation Student Celebration Day, join IC's First-Gen Center for our Alumni Panel. Hear the accomplishments and advice from past First-Gen students on how they made the most out of their experience at IC and how they included their families and supporters in that journey. This event also overlaps with Ithaca College's family week so if family & supporters would also like to join that is great! Our event will allow you to have 1:1 time with a financial aid counselor so that you can fill out the FAFSA for the upcoming year.
