Doreen Hettich-Atkins, Executive Director of Student Affairs and Campus Life; David Prunty, Executive Director of Auxiliary Services; Karen Walls, Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Life; and Amy Frith, Associate Professor of Health Promotion and Physical Education presented recently on food security practices at Ithaca College.

 

The presentation was hosted at the virtual CSPA-NYS conference on October 20.  The College Student Personnel Association of New York State, Inc. is a comprehensive professional student affairs organization that serves professionals in the State of New York. 

The presentation “Impact of a Campus-Based Food Pantry on Retention, and During COVID-19” focused on the history of food security issues at IC, how we transitioned our offerings during COVID, on the relationships we have built in support of the work of the pantry, and the statical information we have collected about how food security usage is impacting students.
