Every Fall, Ithaca College crafts events especially for families and supporters of our students to learn more about IC, explore college through your eyes, and to join us in celebrating your accomplishments. While we typically invite families to join us on campus for a weekend in the fall, due to the implications of a remote semester, we are hosting a virtual, week-long program between Friday, November 6th until Friday, November 13th. We invite and encourage you and your loved ones to attend a variety of engaging social and informational events during Family Week 2020.

A detailed schedule is published on the Family Week 2020 website , but a few highlights from the Family Week lineup include:

  • Meditation and Fitness Classes
  • Student Panels
  • Religious & Spiritual Life Services
  • Opportunities to connect with the President and Senior Leadership Team
  • First-Gen Celebration, first-gen alumni panel, and FAFSA for First-gen events
  • One World Concert, hosted by the Ithaca College International Club
  • Performances from School of Music faculty
  • Small, virtual “meet and eats” with families and supporters
  • Student-athlete panel and session sharing an update on intercollegiate athletics from Susan Bassett
  • Student Panels and Meet the Deans events, hosted by various academic schools
  • Supporting Your Student's Success, hosted by Elizabeth Bleicher, Presidential Fellow for Student Success
  • Family Movie Night, hosted by the Students Activities Board (SAB)
  • Campus and Community Health, hosted by Christina Moylan, Director of Public Health Emergency Preparedness
  • Engaging programs from the Office of Religious & Spiritual Life like Sofa Singers and an “Escape Room”
  • Sessions on ICC and Study Abroad at IC

. . . and much, much more!

Families and supporters are an integral part of our vibrant IC community and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them into your student experience, even under the unique circumstances that comes with this semester.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Jenelle Whalon at families@ithaca.edu . We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
