We appreciate there is a lot of information to consider during the annual benefits re-enrollment period, so we want to be sure you are aware of enhancements to the College’s life insurance and AD&D insurance plans through Sun Life Insurance.

During this year’s re-enrollment period, benefit-eligible employees may elect to increase their supplemental life insurance up to $200,000 without needing to provide Evidence of Insurability (EOI). Supplemental AD&D insurance may also be increased up to $300,000 without EOI.

If you are one of the many who have already completed your re-enrollment, we thank you and want to remind you that it’s not too late for you to go back and change your life or AD&D coverage amounts to take advantage of this opportunity. Simply go through the re-enrollment process again and the changes you make will overwrite your previous elections.

The annual benefits re-enrollment period will officially close in one week, at 5pm on Monday, November 2.  However, please keep in mind that the re-enrollment process in IC HR Cloud will be unavailable starting Monday, October 26 at noon due to payroll processing. The system will be available again on Thursday, October 29 through Monday, November 2.  We have extended the deadline from October 30 to November 2 to compensate for the system downtime.
