Ithaca College

 At the Oct. 24 closing session of this fall's National College Media Convention, The Ithacan was awarded Second Place for Best Website in its category in the conference’s Best of Show competition, and senior Arleigh Rodgers’ new podcast, “Re-Mixing” (Ilyana Castillo ’22, producer) won third place Best of Show in the Podcast category. 

 The Ithacan wasn't able to enter the Best of Show competition in the Newspaper category because entries had to be produced this semester, and the print edition of the paper is on hiatus while the college is conducting classes remotely. But this recognition for the website on the heels of The Ithacan's Newspaper Pacemaker win on Oct. 22 spotlights the staff’s high-quality work across the board, under the leadership of editor-in-chief Madison Fernandez ’20 and managing editor Anna Costa ’20.
