The Roy H Park School of Communications to host a conversation in its forum series on November 15.

Stories, experiences, and feelings matter most. This credo is what Tate Johnson lives her life by, and it has led her to a variety of interesting professional endeavors.

She graduated from Ithaca College in 2017 with a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications and moved to New York City, holding out hope to find the perfect marketing job. She found herself as the PR & Marketing Consultant for Shiseido Americas, and then in 2018 shifted direction to work in Experiential at Unilever North America under the SheaMoisture brand.

Now Tate finds herself with her hand in a little bit of everything across a number of industries and disciplines. From being a Marketing Manager at Electric Hawk, an independent record label, to doing freelance graphic design, balancing a full-time job and managing an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) artist.

She loves getting out in nature, advocating for mental health, writing about music, and storytelling in social streams.

Park Professional Development offers a series of virtual forums to make new connections, spark insights and build momentum in our shared interest in communications. We'll gather online in an open, accessible format that engages our community and allies in driving the discussion around our mutual industries and professions.
