Hello Ithaca College Students: Graduate students in the Occupational Therapy Department are recruiting Ithaca College students to be in an anonymous survey study on transitioning to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you participate in this anonymous study, you will be asked to answer survey questions about your satisfaction, engagement, and adaptation to the remote learning environment. This study has been approved by the Ithaca College IRB number 229. We are looking for students who are 18 years of age or older and are full-time Ithaca College students who are learning remotely during the fall semester through either synchronous or asynchronous methods of course delivery. Ithaca College students who are learning through hybrid or face to face methodologies during the fall semester, or who are part-time students would not qualify for this survey. This study involves completing an anonymous online survey that will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey is a mix between closed-ended questions and short answer responses. There are minimal risks of participation. You might feel uncomfortable answering some of the questions about your personal situation, or feel an increased sense of anxiety after answering questions about remote learning. You are free to discontinue the survey at any time or skip any questions that make you feel uncomfortable. If you experience any emotional discomfort you should contact the Ithaca College counseling center. If you participate in the survey you will have the option to be placed in a raffle drawing for 1 of 3 $25 Amazon gift cards. https://ithaca.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bKh0llWW7NDlkOx If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at: Kaileen Townsend, Graduate Student, Department of Occupational Therapy, ktownsend@ithaca.edu Or our faculty advisor at: Diane Long, Associate Professor Department of Occupational Therapy 315-406 -3228 dlong@ithaca.edu |
