 Card Access Updates for Academic Complex

In an effort to further update building security, the Office of Information Security in conjunction with the Office of Facilities will be moving to card access only, effective Monday, November 9 for the following Textor, Muller, and Phillips entrances:

• Three main entrances on the north side of Textor and Muller
• North exterior entrance of Phillips, adjacent to the Department of Education
• First floor, south exterior entrance to Textor
• Second floor, north and south exterior entrance to Muller
• Second floor, east entrance to Muller
• Second floor, east and west entrances to Friends
• Second floor, south exterior entrance to Job

Going forward, faculty will need to use their ID cards to access those doors, as keys will no longer work in these entrances.  This change will go into effect, Monday, November 9.

To verify that your badge has been updated: 

If your ID card contains a series of numbers on the top right-hand corner of the back side, it is updated and will unlock the doors listed above. 

If your ID card does not have this series of numbers, you will need to obtain a new card, which may be done either online (https://www.ithaca.edu/sacl/id_office/photo/) or by visiting the ID office, which is open Mondays and Thursdays until the end of the semester, 9am-12pm. 

The door adjacent to the flagpole on the exterior of Textor is open during these times and can be used to access the ID Office located in Friends 109.
