If you live in the Six Mile Creek watershed around Caroline and Brooktondale, you are invited to participate in a water quality study.

Assoc. Professor Chris Sinton and his students are collaborating with the City of Ithaca Drinking Water Plant and Cornell University to document the metal concentrations in groundwater within the Six Mile Creek watershed. If you live in the watershed (Brooktondale, Caroline, and Slaterville Springs), we are inviting you to help by allowing us to take a sample of your water in spring and late summer of 2021. We will send you the results that show dissolved metals and total coliform bacteria. Your data will not be shared and will remain anonymous. For more information email csinton@ithaca.edu.
