What works and what doesn't Explore solutions, opportunities and challenges of current Global Events. Gain skills through working with global health organization best practices. Develop understanding of how social justice, community participation, and empowerment of women and youth affects critical health issues and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Asynchronous web/online course. Winter 1 (Jan. 4- Jan. 22) Case stories, global health trainings, videos and projects will engage students to illustrate how communities and individuals take charge of their health and combat the effects of inequity with dignity.
