From global pandemic to wearing seat belts in the car. Explore public health functions, solutions, opportunities and challenges of current public health events. Develop understanding of how social justice movements and community participation and empowerment affects critical health issues. Hybrid: In-person (f2f) and synchronous online course. Case stories, videos and projects will engage students to illustrate how communities and individuals take charge of their health and combat the effects of inequity with dignity.
