There is no cost to attend. The Park Roundtable series convenes leading experts, practitioners, and Park faculty in a formal panel presentation to explore key issues in the industries and professions. Faculty Moderator: Steve Gordon, Television Producer; Associate Professor, Program Director, Television-Radio Degree, Ithaca College. Steve Gordon, teaches television production, development, digital distribution and marketing at Ithaca College. Several of his students have received national awards for their work in his advanced production course. Gordon received his master’s degree in communication from the Park School and has been teaching here for the past 11 years. He continues his producing work with development on a feature film, “Spano” written by Ithaca alum Paul Bernbaum and a short film, “Our Two Dads” in Television Distribution with SMG Entertainment. His teaching follows 20 years in the television industry in Hollywood and New York as Executive Vice President of Creative Affairs for Viacom Productions. There he was in charge of prime-time programming where over 2000 hours of series episodes and films were produced including the series: “Sabrina” for ABC, “The Chris Isaak Show” for Showtime, “Ed” for NBC and the Emmy nominated “4400” for the USA Network. Michelle Glenn ~ Senior Producer at Nickelodeon Michelle Glenn is a senior writer and producer for the brand creative and marketing team at Nickelodeon. Over her nearly 9 years there she has led her creative team through several series launches for Emmy nominated shows such as "Ryan's Mystery Playdate," "Blue's Clues & You" and "Paw Patrol" as well as a Nick jr. network rebrand. She has earned several awards for her work on Nick jr. promotional campaigns as well as an Emmy nomination for her viral short form creative "Nick jr.'s Block Party." Outside of Nickelodeon she continues to explore other creative work with production and directing projects associated with Sony, the NBA, and local production teams. Throughout her time at Ithaca College she also studied in both Spain and Los Angeles, worked on ICTV, and had industry internships with Funny or Die, Don Buchwald & Associates, New Wave Entertainment, and Nickelodeon. Emily Powers ~ Associate Producer at Triage Entertainment Emily is a freelance associate/segment producer primarily for a production company called Triage Entertainment. With them, she has worked on Best Baker in America, Spring Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, and Supermarket Stakeout. Outside of the company she has been an event coordinator for Maria Shriver's Move for Minds event where she managed A list talent for a fundraiser for Alzheimer's awareness. She was also an associate producer for a Disney pilot episode. As a freelance associate producer, she works on the show in pre-production, production, and post-production to see the story all the way through. Jacquelin Agahigian ~ Freelance Assignment Desk Editor/ Producer at CNN Jacqueline Agahigian is a Television Radio major with a minor in Art History in the graduating class of 2021. Her concentration with her major is news production, writing, and distribution. She is currently a Freelance Assignment Desk Editor/Producer for CNN Newsource Digital during her last semester this fall. Before her job, Jacqueline participated in WICB radio as a news broadcaster and Ithaca Now reporter. Kobe Guilford ~ Fall Intern at Pushkin Industries Kobe Guilford is a Senior, Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media major with an Audio Production minor. He hails from West Orange, NJ, where he spent his childhood immersed in the music and visual media around him. He currently serves as an Intern at Pushkin Industries, an audio production company co-founded by Jacob Weisberg and Malcolm Gladwell in 2018. He has aspirations to work in the podcasting/audiobook industry post-graduation.
