HLTH 30600 01 - Health Counseling CRN 43056 Tue/Thurs 2:35-3:50 Hybrid This 3-credit class focuses on methods to improve communication and fruitful human interactions and engagement, particularly for the health care professional. But these skills can be applied to any discipline or situation of human interaction. Topics include - health behavior models, reflective listening, communicating mindfully, prevention of empathy burnout, and helping people maintain motivation to reach their goals.
