School of Business Professors Narges Kasiri (Management) and Hormoz Movassaghi (Finance) publish an article on sustainabilityContributed by Matt Rodgers on 12/01/20 School of Business Professors Narges Kasiri (Management), Hormoz Movassaghi (Finance), and Sara Lamoureux (IC 19) just published an article entitled "Sustainability engagement or not? US SMEs approach" in the Journal of Small Business Strategy. The research investigates sustainability adoption by US SMEs (small market enterprises) across different sectors. The paper is based on interviews with 75 SMEs to identify major drivers and barriers to environmental sustainability in their operations. The research is intended to help policy makers learn about the impact of their decisions on encouraging SMEs to implement sustainability solutions and adjust them to be more effective. The research was supported by the HSBC Sustainability Office. |
