In preparation for the return to campus in the spring, Information Technology staff are planning to visit offices across campus to power up computers. We will not be visiting active areas/departments, such as Public Safety, Facilities, and Dining. 

The updates will have no impact on the existing data on the computer. The technician will power up the computer and login, give the computer the time needed to perform the updates, then return later to power down the computer. If the computer is in use when we arrive we will not make any changes to it.

By being proactive with these updates, your computer will be ready to use when you return to campus, rather than there being a delay and inconvenience due to the possibly lengthy update process.
