Participate in the Central NY Career Development Association (CNYCDA) Elevator Pitch Contest!

The Elevator Pitch Contest is a competition where students will have the opportunity to present themselves in a video recorded elevator pitch to a panel of judges. The panel will choose the best pitches and prizes will be awarded to the top three student presenters.

1st Place: $400

2nd Place: $250

3rd Place: $125

WHO: Students of any class year or major who would like to develop a strong elevator pitch, get exposure to employers, and have the chance to win $400, $250, or $150!

WHAT: A personal pitch is a brief explanation of your unique experiences, skills, and accomplishments that would benefit potential employers. The name stems from the idea of unexpectedly meeting someone in an elevator, at a party, or any brief interaction during which you would only have a short amount of time to “pitch” yourself and what you have to offer.

WHERE: Virtually - sign up for the contest!

WHEN: Registration is open from December 11, 2020 - March 1, 2021. You can enter at any time during that period.

WHY: You only have 30-60 seconds to make a powerful first impression! This contest will help you perfect your pitch and get feedback from real employers.
