ONLINE WINTER 2021 TV COURSE TV-R 33500 ELECTRONIC MEDIA CRITICISM (Fulfills Writing Intensive & Diversity Designated)Contributed by Stephen Tropiano on 12/28/20 Three Week Course (Jan. 4-22) / Online – Synchronous /TWR 3-5:30 PM/ 3 credits / Dr. Stephen Tropiano Electronic Media Criticism focuses on the representation of race, gender, gender identity, and exuality on American television. The course is designed to cultivate your critical thinking and writing skills as we examine classical and contemporary television programming. The screening list for past classes have included Atlanta, Pose, Dear White People, Fresh Off the Boat, Black-ish, The George Lopez Show, Jane the Virgin, Master of None, and Warrior.
