Reminder of Additions to the Holiday Calendar

Happy New Year! We would like to remind our community of the November communication that announced two new official holidays were added to the our Holiday Calendar:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Observed Monday, January 18, 2021
  • Juneteenth: Observed Friday, June 18, 2021

In future years, these holidays will be observed on the day on which they fall.  If the holiday falls on a Saturday, it will be observed on the Friday before and if the holiday falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on the Monday after. 

In addition, the Spring Holiday has been moved from March 15, 2021 to March 29, 2021 to align with a day when classes will not be in session due to the adjustments in this year’s academic calendar.
