New! Undergoing Fertility Treatments- Women's Mentoring Network Mentoring CircleContributed by Julie Dorsey on 02/18/21 The Women's Mentoring Network at IC would like to extend an invitation to those on campus who are currently, previously, or considering IVF, IUI, surrogacy, or other fertility treatments to participate in a Mentoring Circle. 1 in 8 people require assistance with fertility, though it is often experienced in isolation. Mentoring Circles are groups who come together around a shared topic. These circles can meet frequently or infrequently, and in a format that makes sense for those involved. An informal facilitator to help arrange meetings/discussions has come forward to the WMN and suggested this group's formation. Due to the often confidential and sensitive nature of undergoing or considering these treatments, any interest in participating will be collected by emailing Julie Dorsey (jdorsey@ithaca.edu) who coordinates the WMN. Julie will collect interest, clarify confidentiality expectations, then introduce the group via email.
