Alex Horner '17, founder of Burlington Code Academy, has secured $10 million in growth financing to expand access to software engineering education. Please see this article from Yahoo! While he attended IC, he and Sethavatey Limsreng ’16 won the third annual Park Tank event for their device, StopPack, a chemical-free tool for people to quit smoking. Alex has since gone on to found the Burlington Code Academy, based in Burlington, VT.
