Yvonne Rogalski, department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, was featured in “Speech Uncensored,” a podcast for medical speech-language pathologists. She spoke about an aphasia treatment she developed called “Attentive Reading and Constrained Summarization (ARCS).” The treatment uses reading and summarizing from memory with constraints (e.g., avoiding non-specific words such as pronouns or “thing” or “stuff”).
