We are VERY excited to share that we can finally celebrate our colleague and friend Dr. Asma Barlas’ retirement, an event that we had to cancel last year due to the COVID outbreak. A year later, we are still in the pandemic, but we are going virtual with the event. The symposium is not a paper-presenting conference, but rather a chance for alumni and others to share reflections about the work they did in Asma’s courses (and in some cases, continue to do elsewhere) on the topics of the symposium.
