Esports Room Now Open!

The Office of Recreational Sports and Information Technology are pleased to announce the opening of the Ithaca College Esports Room located in Friends Hall 101. IC community members are eligible to use the facility provided that they are in compliance with all IC testing and screening requirements and are cleared to access campus. 

Esports Room Hours: 

Monday – Saturday 

12:00pm – 11:00pm 

The Esports room will be available by reservation only up to two days in advance, with a maximum capacity of 8 people. Reservations can be made online at recreation.ithaca.edu under "Programs" – "Esports." The room features 6 gaming stations with Alienware Aurora R9 computers, gaming chairs, and more.  

Upon arriving, individuals will be required to check in with their Ithaca College ID cards at the Lab Consultant Station across the hall in Friends 110. 

Computers and workstations are spaced 6-feet apart to allow for physical distancing. Sanitizing wipes will be available for self-service cleaning of computers and workstations. Community members are encouraged to bring their own controllers if they are able. 

A variety of gaming equipment will be available to check out from the Friends 110 Lab Consultant Station for use in Friends 101. Loaner items include: 

  • Nintendo Switches and Controllers 
  • Xbox One Console and Controllers 
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch 
  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch 
  • Just Dance for Xbox 
  • Atari Blast Flashback Console 
  • Bandai Namco Blast Flashback Console
