You are invited to participate in the 2021 Women Leaders Series, personal and professional development programs designed to enhance opportunities for college women student leaders. This year’s theme celebrates the essential women in our lives and we are excited to offer a variety of amazing speakers and events that you can register for NOW!

The Office of Student Engagement, in collaboration with other departments on campus, presents the 9th annual Women Leaders Series (WLS) at Ithaca College. All WLS workshops will be held virtually this semester, are open to all current Ithaca College students, and can count for Student Leadership Institute credit.

The series kicks off on March 1 with the Essential Leadership Panel, featuring words of advice from the 2020 IC Women of Distinction recipients: Julie Dorsey, Te-Wen Lo, and Tiffany Valentin.

Join us, if you are looking to develop leadership skills that are essential for college women, if you are interested in learning about women’s career paths in the outdoors or science/technology/engineering/math fields, or if you are looking to dive into some meaningful discussions about women in leadership!

One way that you can actively participate in the WLS is by nominating a woman who has been essential to your personal growth for one of the Recognizing Essential Women posters to be displayed on the academic quad on March 29-31. The nomination form and more information will be available on March 1. You can learn more about all of the events on the Women Leaders Series website.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Student Engagement at ose@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3222. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
