Bringing in the Bystander Training

The Sexual Violence Prevention Committee and the Advocacy Center of Tompkins County are offering virtual training opportunities for Bringing in the Bystander. 

Bringing in the Bystander (BITB) teaches bystanders how to safely intervene in situations where an incident may be occurring or where there may be a risk of sexual or relationship violence. This program uses a community of responsibility approach through a well-researched and tailored training program. 

This semester, we will be offering three BITB programs. Please see the dates below. All attendees must register on Zoom with their Ithaca College email address to join the event. 

March 8, 2021 6:00 PM EST - 7:30 PM EST 

March 17, 2021 12:00 PM EST - 1:30 PM EST

April 19, 2021 12:00 PM EST - 1:30 PM EST 

Join us and learn skills for overcoming barriers when it comes to intervening around sexual and relationship violence and earn SLI credit!
