Guest Speaker Dr. Emily Sherman '16 
University of Michigan
will be joining us on Tuesday, March 9th at 12:10 pm will present:  

“Whole-genome CRISPR screening to identify determinants of SARS-CoV-2 infection”

Dr. Sherman will discuss CRISPR screening as a tool for chemical biology and functional genomics, as well as how Dr. Sherman used CRISPR screening to discover regulators of (i) ACE2, the cellular receptor for SARS-CoV-2, and (ii) SARS-CoV-2 infection and cytopathic effect.

An open discussion at 1:00pm on graduate school and the Program in Chemical Biology at University of Michigan.
