Ithaca College

During a virtual ceremony, the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) announced the winners of its Festival of Media Arts awards competition and presented Ithaca College Television (ICTV) with the Award of Excellence in the TV News Magazine category for its 2020 Election Center program. 

The annual 30-minute show serves as a "voter's guide" for Tompkins County residents, providing information about local, regional and national candidates and election races. It aired on Sunday, October 25, 2020 on the City of Ithaca's Educational Cable Access Channel (Spectrum 16) and streamed live on ICTV.org. 

Due to Ithaca's Fall 2020 remote semester, ICTV's Election Center program was produced virtually with students contributing from different cities across the country. The following Ithaca students served as cast and crew:
