Tuesday, April 13, 2021 An interdisciplinary and international biblical scholar, Dr. Gregory Cuéllar is an associate professor of Old Testament at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Prior to his current appointment, he curated rare books and manuscripts and the Colonial Mexican Imprint Collection at the Cushing Memorial Library and Archives at Texas A&M University. Dr. Cuéllar is a three-time grant fellow of the Hispanic Theological Initiative and 2012-2013 Junior Scholar Grant recipient of the Southwest Commission on Religious Studies. Dr. Cuéllar has served immigrant-majority churches in Dallas and Austin, and regularly advocate for justice for migrants at the U.S./Mexico border. This program is supported by the Courageous Pluralism Grant from the Interfaith Youth Core.
