Attention Graduates! RSVP for Commencement Week Events: Deadline Wednesday, April 14Contributed by Dan DeCaria on 04/06/21 Attention Graduating Students! We are so thrilled about the opportunity to honor our Class of 2021 with in-person celebrations in May. As we continue to make preparations for these spirit-filled events we require your feedback! On Friday, April 2, you received an email message from mydegree@ithaca.edu with instructions of how to RSVP for Commencement Week festivities including the graduation ceremony and senior splash events. Whether you are planning to attend these events in-person, virtually or not attend, we require your RSVP to let us know of your plans. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR RSVP IS THURSDAY, APRIL 14 at 11:59 PM EDT. All students must complete the first two steps of the RSVP, which include multiple choice selections for participation in both Commencement and Senior Splash, as well as indicating your current residential status and – if you are currently residing outside of Tompkins County – if you will need Ithaca College supplied housing. There are three additional steps that all students electing to participate in Commencement will need to complete in preparation for the event. 1. Complete Information for your Graduation Slide Personalized graduate slides with your image, your chosen name, and a personal message will be displayed throughout the ceremony. You may complete and/or edit your slide prior to the deadline of 11:59 PM EDT on Tuesday, May 4. 2. Record Your Name Submit your name as it will be read and pronounced at the Commencement ceremony. 3. Submit Your Permanent Address Please provide your permanent address that can be used to mail your medallion, Latin Honor cords, and diploma cover if applicable if not attending the Commencement ceremony in person. **REMINDER** You must complete your RSVP prior to the April 14 deadline! There will not be a second chance to RSVP! If you do not RSVP, we will not be able to welcome you to the ceremony in any capacity (either in-person or remotely).
