STUDY ABROAD info sessions & drop-in office hours - weeks of April 19-May 7

Want to study abroad? Need help finding the right program? Not sure how it all works or what your options are? The Office of International Programs will be offering just a few more info sessions and drop-in advising opportunities this semester. Come get the information you need to start planning before you head home for the summer!

NOTE: all sessions require you to pre-register.

TUESDAY, APRIL 20

  • 12:10 pm - Study Abroad Basics: Know Your OptionsCome to one of these sessions to get an overview of all of the study abroad possibilities available to you as an IC student. This session is perfect for those who are just at the beginning stages of study abroad planning. We'll discuss how to best plan for study abroad, explain key terminology and types of programs available, talk about what to consider when choosing a program, and how to plan for the financial side of your study abroad experience.

THURSDAY, APRIL 22

  • 12:10 pm - Study Abroad Advising - Drop-in Office HoursConnect anytime within the one-hour window, and a study abroad adviser will be waiting to speak with you. If there is already student with the adviser, you'll be placed in the Zoom waiting room, and will be admitted to the meeting once the adviser is free. Be sure to bring specific questions, as this is not a presentation but a time for you to get your questions answered.

  • 4:00 pm - Ithaca College London CenterStudy in the heart of London! Learn everything you need to know about spending a summer or semester at the Ithaca College London Center.

THURSDAY, MAY 6

  • 3:00 pm - IES Abroad: Making the Most of Your Time Abroad. There are a lot of questions that you might have about studying abroad. Hear from IES Abroad Ambassadors (former study abroad students) and staff about the topics on your mind, such as making friends abroad, meeting locals, and inexpensive ways to experience your host city.
