Timecard Information for Restoration Fridays - May 28, 2021 through August 6, 2021

As was announced at the All-Staff meeting, and communicated via Intercom, Summer Hours for staff has been expanded this year to include FULL DAYS OFF on Fridays from *May 28 through August 6, 2021.  We offer the following information to assist employees and supervisors in completing and approving online timecards.

All non-exempt, benefits eligible, biweekly employees who work on a Restoration Fridays, will be compensated at their regular rate plus receive supplemental hours to use at a later date. These hours will expire four (4) months from the accrual date.

Regularly scheduled hours Not Worked should be recorded as:

  • Summer Hours Not Worked (day, evening, night) – 7.5 or 8.0

Regularly scheduled hours Worked should be recorded as:

  • Summer Hours Worked (day, evening, night) – 7.5 or 8.0
  • Supplemental Time Earned (day, evening, night) – 7.5 or 8.0

If you were scheduled to work a partial day, the hours will be recorded using three lines:

  • Summer Hours Not Worked (day, evening, night) – 4.5
  • Summer Hours Worked (day, evening, night) – 3.0
  • Supplemental Time Earned – 3.0

Employees who are on medical leave will not have these hours converted to Summer Hours

Temporary and part-time workers, who are not benefit-eligible, are not entitled to the Summer Hours benefit

Student employees who work Friday’s will be paid at their regular rate for hours worked

*Please note that Juneteenth is observed on Friday, June 18, 2021 this year and is already a staff holiday.
