 For the first time ever this year, the competitive cheerleading team qualified for and are traveling to NCA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla. We're currently raising money to be able to afford the trip.

We're selling IC Pride t-shirts for $10 (pictured to the right). The team can set up a time to bring you a shirt if you're interested in buying one! Contact captain Alyssa Frey atafrey2@ithaca.edu for more details.

 We would like to invite you to celebrate your strength and inspire others by joining Colleges Against Cancer at Relay for Life of Ithaca College, an Academy Awards-themed event in partnership with the American Cancer Society. The events will kick off Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. in the Ithaca College A&E Center.

Before Relay starts, we would like to invite you to participate in our Survivor Reception at 1 p.m. in the VIP Room located in the A&E Center. Please bring along a loved-one, family member, or friend to the reception. The Survivor Reception is a perfect time to connect with others over food and drink before our Relay for Life begins

 Registered for Relay for Life but haven't raised any money yet? We have a challenge for you! Raise $20 by Friday, March 7 and receive two Relay Bucks at the event. Relay Bucks can be used to purchase food and other items at Relay all night long. They are the only currency accepted during the event and can be purchased at the door for $1 each otherwise.

Join us on Tuesday, March 4th as we celebrate Mardi Gras, New Orleans style! We'll have a special menu along with music and merriment to go around! 

Come dressed in costume or in your best Purple, Green and Gold attire. Certain masqueraders will survey the landscape and hand out prizes to those dressed to the 9's! So, break out your masks and feathers and come join the good times!

One credit mini courses are offered as part of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF). Courses start right after spring break. Students study a variety of topics and attend screenings during the Festival. Students can sign up for courses on Homer. Course titles and descriptions and CRN numbers are below. On Saturday, March 1, Ithaca College students Tommy Conners and Caitlin McSherry presented academic papers at Binghamton University's second annual conference on Latin American, Latin@, Caribbean, and Indigenous Studies.

 Tommy Conners is a Spanish (Teacher Ed) major and delivered a paper entitled "Translingualism: Gustavo Pérez Firmat's Self Expression of Hybridity"    

Caitlin McSherry is a double major in Cinema &Photography (Cinema Production concentration) and Art History. Her paper was entitled "Women in Revolutionary Cuba, As Portrayed and Discussed in Cuban Film"
