On Friday, February 21st at 6 p.m. in the Handwerker Gallery, On the Verge will present a staged reading of Anton Chekhov's masterpiece, The Cherry Orchard.  The cast will feature Frank Wood, a stage, film and television actor who was honored with a Tony award for his performance in Sideman in 1999. Wood also recently performed in the Broadway casts of August: Osage County and Clybourne Park, and he played the role of Roy Cohn in the acclaimed 2010 off-Broadway revival of Angels in America.  The Cherry Orchard cast will also include IC faculty members Paula Murray Cole, Kevin Murphy and Michael Twomey; students from the IC Theater and English departments; and local professional actor Jesse Bush. The reading was directed by Claire Gleitman, a faculty member in the IC English department.

IC Animal Rights

 Come and join the IC Animal Rights club on Mondays in William room 224 from 7 to 8 to discuss and talk about awesome topics and current events!

We are extremely open minded about what people have to say about animal rights so don't feel like you have to have a certain perspective on it! All we want is an educational way for the IC student body to learn about biodiversity!

FYRE is an educational, community experience for first-year students with goals of easing first-year student transitions, supporting academic success, and providing opportunities for meaningful interactions with peers, faculty, and staff outside the classroom. A signature of the FYRE program is its connection with the Integrative Core Curriculum themes.

In an effort to better accommodate several prospective students and families visiting campus during the next week, the Visitor Lot will be reserved only for guests from Monday, February 17 through Friday, February 21.

In addition, the N-Lot will be reserved on Monday and Tuesday, February 17-18, for visitors to campus.

Employees and students who usually park in the designated spaces in the Visitor Lot or in N-Lot will be required to find alternate parking on campus. We also suggest carpooling or taking advantage of TCAT service on these dates.

SAB Comedy Presents: Upright Citizens Brigade.

Check out the Upright Citizens Brigade touring company perform a night of comedic improv as they take over Ithaca’s very own IC Square! Some of the funniest writers and actors on television began their careers with The Upright Citizen Brigade, including various performers on shows like Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, 30 Rock, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and many others.

Come prepared to laugh and maybe even discover the next big comedy star at what is sure to be an incredible night of hilarity on Thursday, February 20th at 8pm in IC Square!
