The Center for Faculty Excellence and CFE Faculty-in-Residence for Interdisciplinary Teaching Mara Alper invite faculty interested in interdisciplinary teaching and learning to join us this semester for active, collaborative discussions. We especially encourage those who have considered this approach, but are uncertain how to do it. This group will collaboratively study and reflect on the philosophy, process and logistics of this approach, then develop plans that can be put into action in 2014-15.

Together, we will explore innovative approaches for new or existing classes with both experienced faculty and those new to this approach. We will pool expertise and insights that enhance our interdisciplinary teaching.  This collaboration will synthesize concrete ideas, potential projects and elegant solutions that support our teaching and IC20/20 integrative education goals. We will meet every other Wednesday beginning Feb. 5 from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. in Gannett 316.

Scheduling Assistant in Outlook Web App

When creating meetings on your calendar in the Outlook Web Application, you have access to a "Scheduling Assistant." Like the feature found in the Windows and Macintosh Outlook applications, the scheduling assistant in OWA allows you to add multiple people to a meeting and helps you quickly find an available time for everyone involved.

MLK Day is TODAY!

Every year the college celebrates the history and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King in our MLK Day Celebrations. This year’s theme is a ‘Single Garment of Destiny’ and will feature many educational sessions that relate to Dr. King’s vision in our modern global society. These sessions are open to all members of the Ithaca College Community. For students, each presentation will count towards SLI Credit in the Leading in a Diverse World Series. To receive SLI credit for any of these events, please log into OrgSync and register for the sessions.
