Do you or someone you know have Parkinson disease? Physical therapists from Ithaca College are investigating the impact of group exercise classes in the pool compared with traditional group exercise. All exercise classes will be held at Longview and will be led by physical therapists. Each one-hour class will focus on balance and strengthening exercises and will occur 2 times per week for 12 weeks. Participants will receive $100 in compensation for participating in the program, including 2 testing sessions and the group exercise classes. The next classes will begin in March 2020 and run through June 2020.

Community Feedback for Draft Diversity, Equity and Inclusion StatementContributed by Lia Munoz on 02/19/20 In accordance with the work being done through the new strategic plan, the Campus Climate Action Group (CCAG) was tasked with drafting a new diversity statement for Ithaca College. Throughout November and December of last year, the CCAG benchmarked numerous diversity statements from colleges and universities across the country, and also researched various theories and frameworks of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
