I am very pleased to announce that Omar Stoute (Class of 2018) will serve as the next Title IX Deputy Coordinator in the Title IX Office, effective Monday, February 17, 2020. Omar began working for the College in the Office of the Provost and went on to serve as Project Coordinator for the Honors Program and Civic Engagement Center. Omar remains active in the college and local community as a board member of the Ithaca Family and Children Services in Ithaca, a founding member of the First Generation Student Organization here on campus, and currently as a peer mentor for 12 students on campus. He is also a committed member of his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, doing community service at the local high school and greater Ithaca.
