As a reminder, all vehicles parked on campus must be registered with the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, located on Farm Pond Rd. The cost of an upperclassman parking permit for the 2013-14 academic year is $126, first year permits are $500. You may order your permit online today by going to www.ithaca.edu/safety/parking or in-person at Parking Services. John Bradac, Director of Career Services was recently selected as a member of the National Career Services Benchmarking Group.  This group functions in an advisory capacity to share information based on data from leading Career Services offices throughout the country.

Marie Sanford, Clinical Associate Professor in the Dept of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, presented a paper, co-authored with David F. Dobies, MD at the 21st Annual Colloquium of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC). Their paper was entitled “Interviewing Practices and the Interpretation of Children’s Statements: A Linguistic Perspective.” The colloquium was held June 25-29.

 We have successfully migrated our reservation systems to the CollegeNet Servers and R25i is up and running and ready to be used. At this time we are once again able to process room reservation requests.

Staff & faculty may apply to the 2013-14 class of Leadership Tompkins to learn about our community, network with other professionals and explore issues of community leadership.  Ithaca College will sponsor up to two staff or faculty members to participate in this year's Leadership Tompkins program, with funding from the staff and faculty development funds.

The School of Music bids farewell to Thomas Kline, director of music admissions and preparatory programs since 2008. Announcing his resignation last week to music staff and faculty, Kline has accepted a position as associate vice president for strategic initiatives at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.

 The room reservation system will be shut down beginning the morning of Sunday, July 14, 2013, until the morning of Thursday, July 18, 2013 to migrate our current reservation systems up to the CollegeNet servers.  Please be aware that no one will be able to access any of the reservation systems and members of the Campus community will not be able to make any reservations during this time.
