Some students do not know...

Contributed by LeBron Rankins on 03/04/13

I've randomly asked students if there is a counseling center on campus.  I get answers like:

  • Yes, it's located....
  • Yes, but I don't know where it is.
  • I'm sure we must, but I'm not certain.
  • I don't know.

Sometimes, the student has been on campus less than a semester.  Sometimes, the student is a senior.  Ask your friends if there is a counseling center on campus and see what kind of responses you get.

Here's a short video that'll give you the basic information to educate those friends who are not informed about Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Don't just be a friend, be a supportive and informed friend!
