In compliance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, class materials must be made available in alternate format. Alternate formats include audio versions of written documents, documents in Braille and/or enlarged print, video captioning and materials in electronic format.

Faculty should compile reading lists as early as possible since books from smaller publishing companies and those not designated as textbooks must be scanned and converted.

Please provide course packets, handouts, syllabi, and any other materials used in class to the student in the appropriate format.

Whenever possible faculty should provide the accommodation.  For example, if the student needs print materials enlarged, all standard copy machines are capable of this function.  Typical enlargement is 121%.

Time slots fill quickly and you won't be able to use your academic accommodations or schedule tests with our office until you see a counselor.

We suggest that you schedule an appointment as soon as possible by calling the front desk at 607-274-1005. 

Your appointment will be in the 110 Towers Concourse suite.
