Her presentation, "La Llorona del Rio Grande: A Story Told Through Noise," discusses a retelling of the myth of the Weeping Woman by the noise artist Tahnee Udero (Tahnzz) that exposes effect of gentrification and honors the resilience of abuelas and curanderos, acting as a sonic anti-colonial protest while offering a path towards healing and hope.
