The fixIT shop will be closed for the holiday break beginning Saturday, December. 21st. We will reopen Thursday, January 2nd with the following schedule Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 5 PM We will resume regular business hours on Sunday, January 19th.

(66 words) Dr. Enrique González-Conty, Assistant Professor of Spanish, published two essays in the book A Cuban Cinema CompanionContributed by Tina Bennett on 12/18/19 A Cuban Cinema Companion, a collection of essays about films across six decades, included two entries by Dr. Enrique González-Conty, Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. Dr. González-Conty wrote the essays for two films: the Cuban drama "El hombre de Maisinicú" (The Man from Maisinicú, 1973) directed by Manuel Pérez, and the documentary made in exile "8-A" (1992) directed by Orlando Jiménez Leal. This collection is part of the National Cinemas series published by Rowman & Littlefield Publishers.
