7:30-10 will be practice/learning tryout material (Hill Center Gymnastics room)

Tuesday November 16th

7:30-10 will be a review of the tryout material/tryouts (Hill Center Gymnastics room)

David Priester, director of Technical Operations in the Park School of Communications, presented as part of a panel on October 27 at the Wisconsin Association of Broadcasters annual Broadcasters Clinic, a three-day conference designed for the continuing education and development of broadcast engineering and management professionals. The panel topic was an exploration of the opportunities provided by the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) for professional development.

Priester is a senior member, certified a professional broadcast engineer by the SBE, on the board of directors, chair of the education committee and member of the certification committee.

Professional documentary and multimedia producers Ann Michel and Phil Wilde have been named Internship Coordinators for the 2011 Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival.

As a key part of the festival team, Ann Michel and Phil Wilde will run the FLEFF internship program, which includes the FLEFF Practica courses for interns and the FLEFF Practica for team leaders for the 2011 festival.

Andrew H. Orgel, the chairman and chief executive officer of 1Degree Media & Entertainment Company, has been named as the school’s first Assistant to the Dean for Industry Relations.

The new position was created to help the Park School forge new relationships with key industry, alumni and foundation leaders and to develop sources of funding, internships, jobs and curriculum innovation.
