The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is excited to offer you a preview of 2010's MLK celebration activities.  As this year, the MLK holiday falls outside of the regular Academic Calendar, we will be hosting a week's worth of exciting activities from January 25th through January 30th.

The planning committee is looking for student and community organizations to participate in our first "Take a Stand: Social Justice Fair," to be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 11am-2pm.  We are looking for organizations with a focus on social justice in any area.  This is an opportunity to introduce your organization to others and to build interest, or even gain membership.  If you are interested, please e-mail jrawlins@ithaca.edu and let us know your organization's name, a description, and contact information.

Couldn't eat anything at Thanksgiving Dinner?  Come complain about it at the Food Allergy and Intolerance Forum.  Join us to discuss the needs of students with food allergies and intolerances so that we can demand that suitable dining options are availble to them at our campus dining halls!  The Food Allergy and Intolerance Forum is Monday, December 7 at 8PM in Clark Lounge.  Join us to help us improve the health of our campus!  This event is sponsored by the SGA.

Ithaca College Faculty/Staff and students interested in the Dana Internship Program are invited to submit project proposals to be considered for the summer 2010 and academic year 2010-2011.  Proposals may be submitted either electronically to dana@ithaca.edu or hard copy to Hillary Barrett (302 Peggy Ryan Williams Center) in the Office the Provost and VPAA by February 12, 2010. Electronic submissions are preferred. Applicants will be notified before April 30, 2010.

At 3:00 on Sunday, December 6, the Ithaca College Choir, Chorus, Women's Chorale, and Madrigal Singers will present their Winter Concert, which is free and open to all.  Lawrence Doebler and Janet Galvan will conduct.  Music by Vaughan Williams, Howells, as well as madrigals and other music for Christmas, is on the program.  The concert will conclude with the combined ensembles singing a setting of Ave Maria by Anton Bruckner and a soloist singing "Silent Night."

The members of the First-Year Experience Coordinating Committee would like to invite ALL first-year students to our last First-Year Experience featured event of the fall semester!!!
