I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Maria DiFrancesco as the next Director of the Exploratory Program, effective on January 1st, 2020.  Dr. DiFrancesco is Professor of Spanish in the School of Humanities and Sciences and a prolific scholar. Most recently Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Dr. DiFrancesco brings to the Exploratory Program an understanding of the first-generation student experience, a commitment to liberal arts education at Ithaca College, and an enthusiasm for teaching and advising in support of student success.

Registration is currently open for the Fall offering of the R.A.D. self-defense course for women. Spaces still remain available for this class, which will be conducted in four 3-hour sessions on Tuesday evenings during October from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  This course is open to any student, faculty or staff member who identifies as female.

Adobe has changed their licensing model so that starting on September 27, 2019 all Adobe applications will only be available through the Adobe Creative Cloud service which will require individuals to log into Adobe with their Netpass username and password.  Under the new licensing model Adobe applications will continue to be available for use on college computers deployed to individuals and in the campus labs and classrooms.
