Library Server Maintenance

In order to perform system maintenance and software upgrades, the library server may not be accessible for periods during spring break 2007. We estimate a minimum of 2 days down time -- Tuesday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 14.

Relay For Life -
March 31st - 7pm - Barton Hall, Cornell

The Relay For Life is an overnight event designed to spread awareness of cancer prevention, treatments and cures; celebrate survivorship; and raise money for research to find more cures for cancer. There will be musical performances, food, activities, and more all night.

Asma Barlas, director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) and professor of politics, gave the Emmie Baine Lecture at the 42nd annual Women's Symposium at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, on March 1. The Symposium's theme was "A Collective Purpose: Crossing Cultural Boundaries"; Barlas spoke on "Learning to Engage Islam and Muslims."
