In a clean sweep of major awards at the 85th annual National College Media Convention in St. Louis, October 25–29, the Ithacan came home with a Pacemaker Award, an Online Pacemaker Award and a First Place, Best of Show Award.

This is the first time a paper has won all three awards in the history of the convention.

Ithaca College Theatre will present Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis’s “Urinetown: The Musical,” winner of three Tony Awards. Evening performances will take place at 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, and Nov. 2, 3, 4, 8, 10, and 11. Matinees will be offered at 2 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 11. All performances will be held in the Hoerner Theatre, Dillingham Center.

Tickets range in price from $4.50 to $10.00 and can be purchased by calling the Ithaca College Theatre box office at (607) 274-3224, the Clinton House at (607) 273-4497, or by visiting ithacaevents.com. Group discounts are available. Patrons are encouraged to bring canned goods to the theater for distribution to those in need.
