Public Safety Alert Update

As a result of its investigation, the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety has identified the two unknown males who were the subject of a Public Safety Alert after being observed in the doorway of an Emerson Hall residence hall room on Sunday, October 1. The subjects were identified as a student and his visitor, a non-student. As a consequence of the incident, the student was referred judicially and the non-student has been banned from the college campus.

The School of Health Sciences and Human Performance has opened a new campus at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, marking the first step in a collaboration that will draw upon the respective strengths and histories of the two institutions. Located on the CRCDS campus on South Goodman Street in Rochester, the site will primarily house Ithaca’s physical therapy program, though additional partnerships are in the works.

Ithaca College Theatre will kick off its 2006–7 season with Marlane Gomard Meyer’s “Etta Jenks.” Evening performances will take place at 8 p.m. Oct. 5–7. Matinees will be offered at 2 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 8. All performances will take place in the Clark Theatre, Dillingham Center. Because of its themes, “Etta Jenks” is appropriate for mature audiences.

Each year 1.5 million people are diagnosed with cancer. The Pan Massachusetts Challenge is one of the largest fundraisers dedicated to cancer research. Over the past 26 years they have raised $145 million for cancer research and treatment at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, in Boston, MA. All proceeds from this benefit will go directly to the PMC. www.pmc.org...www.pmc.org. All events are FREE, but DONATIONS will be accepted.
