On February 8th, 2019, Ithaca Colleges’ A and B teams attended a Mock Trial regional tournament at Pennsylvania State University. Throughout this tournament, IC Mock Trial competed against a wide variety of teams, including Cornell, Columbia, Penn State and NYU. Ithaca College’s B team ranked above Cornell University by receiving an unprecedented Open Bid that will send it to the Nationals, in the event that another team drops from the tournament. Among other commendations, Jessica Tocci, a freshman Mock Trial member, received an Outstanding Witness Award. IC Mock Trial had the most successful performance since its inception, 8 years ago. The Politics Department is delighted to be the new home of the IC Mock Trial team and the Legal Studies Program and enthusiastically applauds their accomplishments and the contributions from their new Coach Andrea Mooney and administrative mentor, Kenesha Chatman.

The ENS uses voice, e-mail, and text messaging to provide information and instructions in the event of a campus emergency. It is important to have multiple ways to receive alerts in order to ensure access to essential notices, such as weather closings or delays.
