Show us what you got at the 22nd Whalen Symposium! 

Don't be fooled into thinking that only poster presentations and lectures are welcome to the Symposium. We also accept, Live Performance AND Works of Visual and Media Art. Students are encouraged to present, photography, art work, solo performances, ensembles, monologues, scene work, sculptures, costume and set design, and other creative scholarship works.

Tertulias: Spanish Conversation

Do you want to enhance your Spanish fluency?  If so, join the tertulias that are being held on Tuesdays from 12:10 to 1:00 PM, in Job 209 (LCE) and on Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, in Dillingham 6. Tertulias are informal meetings of people to talk about current affairs, arts, literature, etc. Our tertulias are being led by a native speaker of Spanish and are open to students and the IC community regardless of language proficiency. If you want further information, please contact Gladys M.  Free Spanish tutoring is available to all students enrolled in a Spanish class. The tutoring sessions are led by an IC student and they take place on Mondays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Thursdays from 12:10 PM to 1:00 PM in Job 209 (LCEC, Language Cultural Exchange Cooperative). No appointments are necessary. If you have any questions contact Gladys M. Varona-Lacey (varona@ithaca.edu).

 IC Square will resume regular operations hours of operation on Monday, February 11th. 

All dining venues will also operate as scheduled.

All areas of the Campus Center will be open on Monday, February 11, for normal operations, including the IC Square food court and Emerson Suites. Independent inspections and analyses conducted by two separate engineering firms have determined that all portions of the building are structurally sound, and that the damage that occurred during a concert Saturday evening was only cosmetic in nature. That cosmetic repair work was completed on Sunday.

Teaching and Learning with Technology's IC Immersive initiative is hosting drop-in hours all semester long in the Instructional Media Lab in Job 102.

The IC Immersive team in Ithaca College’s IT department is offering a free workshop to campus community members talking about the tools that can assist with the creation of immersive experiences. We’ll be reviewing many of the popular technologies (e.g. Google Tour Creator) available to consumers and how they can be applied to making narrative experiences in 360 degrees.
